1. Nature of Service

DS Assets ("we", "us") operates as a specialized aggregation and standardization service for digital 3D resources. We curate open-source (CC0) assets, verify their integrity, standardize their file structures for production pipelines, and host them on high-speed infrastructure.

Clarification of Sale: Your subscription fee constitutes payment for the curation service, data storage, and bandwidth usage. It is not a licensing fee for the intellectual property of the assets themselves.

2. Asset Licensing & Usage

The majority of assets indexed in our repository are sourced from the public domain (CC0) or equivalent permissive licenses (e.g., Poly Haven).

Commercial Use: You are free to use the downloaded assets in commercial projects (games, architectural visualization, films) without royalties.
No Attribution Required: While not legally required by CC0, we encourage crediting the original authors listed in the asset metadata.
Redistribution: You may not repackage the standardized files downloaded from DS Assets and resell them as a competing standalone asset pack. (You may, however, redistribute the raw original CC0 data as permitted by its original license).

3. Intellectual Property Rights

We respect the intellectual property of others. Since our catalog consists primarily of CC0 (Public Domain) assets, copyright disputes are rare. However, if you believe any content violates your copyright, please contact legal@ds-assets.com with proof of ownership. We will remove infringing content immediately upon verification.

4. Subscription & Refunds

Access to the repository requires an active subscription.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
Refund Policy: Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once you have downloaded any asset, as the service has been consumed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the DS Assets infrastructure. Prohibited actions include:

Sharing your login credentials with others (Account Sharing).
Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to bulk-download the repository.
Attempting to bypass security measures or payment gateways.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts found violating these rules without refund.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service and assets are provided "as is". While we strive for quality control (QC), DS Assets makes no warranties regarding the fitness of an asset for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any data loss, project delays, or damages resulting from the use of these files.
